A very practical, realistic guide to increasing your luck based on the science of luck—yes, really. https://pmarchive.com/luck_and_the_entrepreneur.html
I know I post about IQ alot here, but it’s because I am personally fascinated by the topic on an intellectual level. Your IQ doesn’t actually matter all that much, you shouldn’t care about your own IQ much, and you don’t need a high IQ to be successful. Just go do cool stuff!
If you spend too much time on the internet, as I do, you’ll have noticed that actress Sydney Sweeney’s preposterous boobs have become a political topic, somehow. Here, Hanania explains why boobs are political well: every expression of male sexuality is intensely demonized, and more importantly, beauty and aesthetics are good things that the left seems to hate for some reason.
This is a really, really good article in slate, if you can believe this, about the reality and science of IQ as it relates to college and SAT scores. Great IQ explainer overall. https://slate.com/technology/2014/04/what-do-sat-and-iq-tests-measure-general-intelligence-predicts-school-and-life-success.html

Interesting work on chimpanzees and bonobo’s from a biology perspective, but what I found fascinating here is the completely and totally insane last paragraph that comes out of left field and slaps you hard. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/chimpanzees-and-bonobos-have-surprisingly-different-parenting-styles/
Conservatives, ostensible the pro-market, pro-innovation, pro-freedom crowd, are intensely opposed to lab grown/synthetic meat, which is absurd. https://www.piratewires.com/p/lab-grown-meat-ban-in-florida?f=home
Researchers find that millennials have income growth that matches or exceeds that of prior generations at the same age, with a gigantic caveat: millennials have only been able to do this by massively increasing their financial reliances on their parents. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4741448
This is a fantastic write up on my problem with all modern films: they are poorly written because they are extremely literal, on the nose, with absolutely zero ambiguity. https://all-cats-are-beautiful.ghost.io/image-without-metaphor-dune-2-and-the-return-of-socialist-realism/
